An Design Online tours
Virtual. Original.
Captivating. Powerful.
The global pandemic has been devastating, but at the same time it has brought innovation. This is a chance to experience the world in a new way, come together with others that we haven’t been able to meet, and create moments that have the potential to enrich our lives forever.
“Visiting Online Can’t Be As Good As Really Being There.”
Let’s do away with this notion right now. Our goal is to have you experience sites of cultural heritage in ways you never have before. In ways you couldn’t even if you physically traveled there. Never before have you experienced culture in this way.
Not A Substitute.
A New Way.
Artistically created videos, audio, diagrams, photos, and expert live commentary will be shared to create a richly layered exploration of some of Kyoto’s hidden gems. Relaxing and educational, you will certainly leave with something gained from our virtual experience.

“If you are looking for an immersive experience from afar, Andrew is the guide you want to choose. The sensory experience he has created with the soundscape, video, and photographs along with the wealth of information he brings to each tour, which are tailored to the interests of the attendees, make for a wonderful walk through Kyoto history—present to past and back. In these times, his online tours are also a beautiful way to share an evening with friends and family when we are spread out and not able to connect in person. —Renee K., New York, U.S.A”
From your host:
Hello. Living in this utopian-like town called Kyoto for the last 10 years has transformed my life in ways I could have never imagined. Working in a traditional garden company, attending a Japanese garden training program, starting a family, and growing a business have all seemed to happen in a blink of an eye.
The Covid-19 pandemic us given way to an endeavor I could have never imaged embarking on- creating and leading online tours of some of Kyoto’s little-known, but nonetheless true power spots. Having spent collectively hundreds of hours at these sites has enabled me to bring them into the virtual realm and convey them in an original, captivating and powerful manner.
It is my hope that you join my online tours with friends or family members that you may not have been able to see recently and spend the time together in a very unique setting, while being whisked away to far off worlds right from the comfort of your own home. I am looking forward to virtually exploring with you soon in Kyoto!
Respectfully,
Andrew William
